Our Nursery
Where Learning Begin
Our nursery is purpose built in the beautiful location of Swanley park! Our building completed in October 2023 with a natural design in keeping with the park. We have rooms specifically designed with the highest quality facilities for the child’s age range, including a tailor made baby room and a large garden for outdoor learning and play! We have children attend our nursery from 3 months old until they leave for school.
We are open from 7am until 7pm and are walking distance from Swanley Railway Station, the local library, fire station and supermarkets, we often take our children out on local trips to these places. We also take pride in planning trips to places such as the farm and the beach. Our local community is part of our nursery life.

My daughter who join this nursery in 2019 loves her friends and teachers there. Every morning she wakes up with an excitement asking what day is today am I going to school or not? 😅 When leaving for Reception she surely will miss everyone. Environment is very welcoming and more importantly staff are lovely. Niamh Clarke2021-06-16Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My daughter has been going here for over 3 years, and has always absolutely loved it. The staff are amazing and so friendly and as a parent they have always been so helpful whenever I have needed them. When I had my second daughter, I didn't even hesitate in signing her up to start this September. The activities which they do with the children are brilliant, and my daughter has learnt so much. In my opinion they have also handled everything to do with the pandemic impeccably, which really put my mind at rest. Really good nursery my son has been going since he was about 18 months and is 4 now getting ready for school.. hes speech and learning has grown so much since he started they helped potty train and was clean within a week. The staff are great and is nice for the children to have key workers assigned to them! Tapestry is updated weekly with lots of pictures and videos and all the imput they have done for that week! Can’t fault them especially in the last 18 months during Covid! Definitely recommend this nursery for your little ones Carla Siniscalchi2021-06-15Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had such a good experience with my first child, and now with my second one. I love how they teach the kids many things, give them lots of experiences and track their progress. They have fantastic staff and that were beyond helpful in supporting my child with special needs.Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust. What is taught in the nursery?
At Dawn to Dusk Day Nursery, we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), which is the government’s framework for learning and development for children from birth to five years old.
Children learn best through play, so we offer a play-based curriculum where they explore, discover, and develop at their own pace. Our staff carefully plan activities based on each child’s interests and needs, helping them grow in all areas of learning.
The EYFS includes seven key areas of learning:
1. Personal, Social and Emotional Development – Learning to build friendships, manage
feelings, and become confident.
2. Physical Development – Developing movement, coordination, and healthy habits.
3. Communication and Language – Listening, understanding, and speaking clearly.
4. Literacy – Enjoying stories and starting to read and write.
5. Mathematics – Exploring numbers, shapes, and patterns.
6. Understanding the World – Learning about people, places, nature, and technology.
7. Expressive Arts and Design – Being creative through art, music, role play, and dance.
Each child has a Key Person who supports their learning and development. We also work closely
with parents to make sure children feel safe, happy, and ready for school and beyond.
What happens during the nursery tour?
When you come for a tour at Dawn to Dusk Day Nursery, we’ll give you a warm welcome and show you around our setting. You’ll get to see each of our rooms, including our specially designed areas for babies, toddlers, and pre-schoolers.
A member of the management team will explain how we care for and support the children, how our day is structured, and how we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to help each child learn and develop. You’ll see the play spaces, outdoor areas, and where children eat, rest, and learn.
We’ll also answer any questions you may have and talk through our policies, fees, and the settling-in process. The tour is a great chance for you to get a feel for the nursery and ask anything that’s
important to you.
If you’d like to take the next step, we can guide you through registration and what happens next.
How much does the nursery cost?
Our fees depend on the sessions your child attends and their age. We offer both full-day and part-day sessions, and we also provide funded hours for eligible 9 months, 2, 3 and 4 year olds.
To see our full fee schedule, including what’s included in the price (meals, snacks, nappies, and wipes), please contact us.

Do you take on children with special educational needs (SEN)?
Yes, we welcome children with special educational needs (SEN) and are committed to providing an inclusive and supportive environment for all children.
We have a dedicated SEND Lead who works closely with families and other professionals to ensure each child’s individual needs are met. Our team is trained to support a wide range of needs, and we adapt activities and routines to help every child learn, grow, and feel confident.
If you would like to talk to us about your child’s specific needs, please get in touch—we’ll be happy to support you.
